Noscarna Gel is a topical medicine for the treatment of scar tissue after wound healing. Its Korean approved indications cover hypertrophic and keloid scars, acne scars and surgical scars. Do not apply it to incised or unhealed wounds. Check for “Noscarna Gel” or “노스카나겔” on the package when matching a saved product photo.

02 / HOW TO USE
How to use Noscarna Gel
Adults and children aged 2 or older apply it to the scar and surrounding skin several times a day, gently massaging after the wound has healed. Do not use it on unhealed wounds or rub forcefully.
Check the area first
Use only after the wound has healed. Avoid the eye area, mucous membranes and sites with purulent infection
Apply gently
Apply several times a day as directed and gently massage the scar and surrounding skin. Protect the scar from sunlight
Keep in its original container
Close the cap tightly and store at 1–30°C, out of children’s reach. Do not transfer it to another container
Do not use in these cases
Do not use during pregnancy, in infants under 6 months, or if you are allergic to any ingredient. Do not use with heparin hypersensitivity, a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), a bleeding tendency or thrombocytopenia. Do not apply to incised or unhealed wounds, mucous membranes or sites with purulent infection.
Medicines that must not be used together
Do not use concurrently with anticoagulants. The Korean label lists coumarins, aspirin, dipyridamole, dextran and streptokinase as examples. Tell your doctor or pharmacist which medicines you take or use before starting.
Breastfeeding and children
Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use while breastfeeding. Follow a doctor’s instructions for children under 2 and for application over large areas in children aged 2 to under 12. Infants under 6 months must not use it. Children need adult supervision.
Overnight bandaging is a separate method
The label allows adults with hypertrophic scars to apply a thick layer, secure it with a bandage and leave it overnight. This method is not appropriate for children, especially infants. Check the distinction from ordinary application.
When to stop
Stop immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist if an allergic reaction develops. Bring the leaflet if possible. Avoid the eye area and mucous membranes, and protect the scar from direct sunlight and heat from the sun.
03 / PRODUCT DIFFERENCES
Noscarna Gel vs Noscardin Gel
The names are similar, but the ingredients and uses differ. Noscarna Gel is not a substitute for treatment of a wound infection.
Noscarna Gel
Contains heparin sodium, allantoin and dexpanthenol. Used after the wound has healed for the scar types covered by its Korean approval, including acne and surgical scars.
Noscardin Gel
Contains the antibiotic ingredient fusidic acid hemihydrate, 20 mg/g. Used for approved bacterial skin infections and secondary infections from wounds and other specified injuries. Do not assume the two products are interchangeable or apply them together without advice.

Questions before buying or using it
Can I use it on an old scar?
Its approved indications cover hypertrophic and keloid scars, acne scars and surgical scars. An older scar or an indented mark needs assessment to determine whether this medicine is suitable and what change can reasonably be expected. Tell your doctor or pharmacist when it formed and what it looks like. It will not make every old scar disappear.
How long should I use it?
The approved directions are to apply and gently massage several times a day. The label does not set a number of weeks in which a scar will disappear. Discuss duration based on the scar’s condition, and stop if an allergic reaction develops.
How is it different from Noscardin Gel?
Noscarna Gel contains three active ingredients and is used on scars after a wound has healed. Noscardin Gel contains fusidic acid hemihydrate for approved bacterial skin infections. Check the product name and the area being treated rather than choosing by package colour.
How many tubes can I buy?
